A BUSINESS CLUB OF THE WEST KAZAKHSTAN AND VOLGOGRAD REGIONS HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED

The solemn remote signing of the Agreement on the establishment of a Business Club between the Regional Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the West Kazakhstan Region and the Union "Volgograd Chamber of Commerce and Industry" took place within the first meeting of the working group on the development of international relations of the West Kazakhstan regions and the Volgograd region. The parties to the meeting were headed by the First Deputy Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region Mukhtar Mankeev and the Deputy Governor of the Volgograd region Anna Pisemskaya.

According to the president, the work of this club will give an impetus to the development of the economy of the border regions.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached on the regulation of the number of saigas in the territory of the two border regions. They also discussed the construction of a high-voltage line of 110 kVA with a length of 75 km between the settlements of Zasury and Vengelovka, the expansion of cooperation in the field of health, culture and trade and economic direction.

According to Mukhtar Mankeev, for the 1st quarter of this year, the foreign trade turnover of the West Kazakhstan region with the Volgograd region amounted to 1.7 million US dollars (exports – 60.0 thousand US dollars, imports-1.7 million US dollars), there is an annual increase in trade turnover between the West Kazakhstan region and the Russian Federation by 10%, which is an additional impetus for the development of border regions.
