Those who have received the coronavirus vaccine will be able to visit public places using a special mobile application

The Ashyq application developed by the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the region on behalf of the Akim of the West Kazakhstan Region has already been adapted by 25 enterprises. About 700 organizations have shown their willingness to work on it. This was stated during the next meeting of the operstab for the fight against coronavirus in oblachimat.

It is assumed that the application will help to exclude the possibility of visiting public places by infected or contact persons. It is installed on a smartphone, the user registers and when entering the institution, his QR code is scanned, which allows you to assign him one of four statuses: green (no restrictions), blue (not in the contact database), yellow (entry is limited) and red (PCR is positive, and the person must be quarantined or treated).

Whether the app will help stop the spread of the virus is still too early to judge. So far, according to the data of the regional health service and the Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the WKO, the situation on CVI in the WKO continues to break records. If 15 people died from the coronavirus in February, then 30 deaths from this disease were recorded in March, and 16 from the beginning of April. The increase in the incidence over the past two weeks was almost 12%. Such districts as Akzhaiksky, Kaztalovsky, Bayterek, Chingirlausky, Taskalinsky, Burlinsky and g. Uralsk is in the " red " zone, and Zhanibeksky and Zhangalinsky are on the verge of entering it.

As for vaccination, it is carried out according to the plan. The vaccine on the basis of polyclinics began to receive everyone who is entered in the lists and invited to be vaccinated according to the queue. WKO has already received 34,300 doses of the Sputnik V vaccine. Another 35,000 doses are due in the coming days. For universal coverage of the population, mobile medical teams will be organized, which will travel to large organizations and distant localities.

- Our biggest problem in the fight against coronavirus remains the holding of mass events by the population, - said the Governor of WKO Gali Iskaliyev during the meeting. – If we do not stop this, the situation in the West Kazakhstan Region will only worsen. Compared to other western regions, we have the most difficult situation in terms of CVI and a high mortality rate. 73% of the deceased are people over 65 years of age. This suggests that we are putting our parents at great risk. It is in young people that a coronavirus infection can be asymptomatic, and for the older generation, the disease can be fatal. Therefore, it is necessary that both the older generation and young people stop mass gathering for events. The work of the monitoring groups will be strengthened. Let me remind you that not only the organizers of events, but also all its participants are now punished with a fine. But our task is not to increase penalties, but to stop the spread of CVI as quickly as possible. The decision to restrict traffic at night is justified. Already 15 people were stopped in a drunken state at the wheel, who, most likely, were heading to places of mass congestion and could cause a lot of trouble on the roads. Coronavirus is very expensive for the economy of our region. Treatment of one infected CVI is estimated from 600 to 900 thousand tenge. Moreover, due to the current restrictions, small and large businesses suffer, which now cannot work at full capacity. Therefore, I urge you to observe all quarantine measures and demand this from others! The situation will be able to improve if the people of West Kazakhstan stop attending mass events.
