In the West Kazakhstan region, the activity of trading houses and markets on Saturdays was allowed

Following the results of the meeting of the operational headquarters of the region, a decision was made to amend the restrictive measures aimed at preventing the spread of coronavirus infection. Recall that the region has been in the “red” zone for two weeks in terms of the rate of spread of the coronovirus.

By the decree of the Chief sanitary doctor of the WKO of April 9, shopping houses and centers will work on weekdays from 10.00 to 21.00, on Saturdays from 10.00 to 17.00 with a occupancy rate of no more than 30%.

This is done in order to relieve the small shops in which there was a crowd of people on weekends.

Shops selling non-food products were allowed to work from 09.00 to 18.00 with the suspension of work on Sundays. Grocery stores will be open from 08.00 to 23.00

Also, from April 9, restrictions on movement in the territory of settlements of the region from 00:00 to 06:00 hours were introduced

This measure was introduced not only to prevent coronavirus infection, but also to identify and prevent traffic violations associated with driving under the influence of alcohol.

Statistics confirm the effectiveness of this measure: last year, from July 5 to August 16, during the period of increasing the incidence of the virus and the introduction of restrictions on movement at night, 47 drunk people were stopped driving a car.

This measure is used primarily to identify people who grossly violate the rules of driving and carry the most serious threat to the lives of other residents, and not in the pursuit of issuing fines.

It is worth noting that in cases where it is necessary to travel by private car for satisfactory reasons, for example, to a medical institution or in connection with working the night shift, you must leave a request by phone "109" or register on the STOPCOVID website.KZ

The changes also affected the form of training. Thus, the training will be conducted in the traditional format in urban and rural schools with a contingent of up to 300 students, with the number of children in classes of no more than 15 people. Students of the 1st year of colleges and universities will be transferred to a distance learning format, with the exception of practical and laboratory classes.
