Vice-Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerbol Ospanov spoke about the work done to digitalize the social and labor sphere.

"Let's take one of the most popular services-the appointment of benefits for the birth of a child. In 2020, almost 425.6 thousand children were born, of which 58.3 thousand benefits were proactively assigned. We wondered why so little? We conducted an analysis, as a result of which we identified a number of limiting factors. These are incorrect information on family ties, the lack of registration of a phone number in the database of mobile citizens, the lack of a response to an SMS message from citizens, incorrect bank accounts, a change in life status, " Yerbol Ospanov said at a briefing in the CCS.
According to him, in order to increase the share of services provided in an electronic and proactive format, together with interested government agencies, work has begun to change the approaches and processes of providing services to the population, and proposals have already been prepared for the transformation and reengineering of public services.
"For the convenience of service recipients, we are working on the extraterritorial reception of applications for pensions and benefits. Now citizens, regardless of their location, will be able to apply for pensions and benefits in any public service center. The phased transfer of services is planned to be launched from April 1 of this year, " he added. Ospanov.
