CCTV cameras are installed in almost all schools

Local executive bodies have carried out a lot of work over the past year to provide schools with warm toilets and video surveillance cameras.

According to Gulnara Sarsengalieva, head of the Department for Quality Assurance in the field of education of the West Kazakhstan Region, the work on identifying schools with missing warm toilets was carried out during the monitoring of educational organizations. In 180 schools of the West Kazakhstan region, where previously there were only street closets, there were warm toilets. However, in 8 schools, this problem has not yet been solved.

As for video surveillance cameras, according to the latest data, now they are not enough only in one educational organization.

- According to the National Educational Database, 375 out of 377 schools have installed outdoor and indoor video surveillance cameras, - G. Sarsengalieva noted. - However, during the collection of data from the visit, it turned out that video surveillance systems were not enough in 27 of these educational facilities. In addition, 72 communal public schools and one private security camera did not meet the required requirements.

According to the results of monitoring, as a result of the work carried out by local executive bodies, only one educational organization now needs to install a video surveillance camera. At the same time, at the end of last year, non-compliance with the requirements was revealed in 18 schools. Work in this direction continues.

By the way, according to the amendments made earlier this year to the law "On Education", the head of the educational organization is responsible for unreliable or untimely submission of administrative data on the objects of informatization in the educational sphere.
