WKR BEGINS VACCINATION AGAINST CORONAVIRUS

Mass vaccination of WKR residents against coronavirus infection will begin today. As previously reported in the Department of sanitary and epidemiological control of the WKR, first of all, employees of infectious hospitals, emergency medical stations and epidemiologists will receive a vaccination against coronavirus infection.
In total, it is planned to vaccinate 180 thousand residents of the West Kazakhstan region from COVID-19.
By the way, the Russian-made drug Sputnik-V will be used for vaccinations of the population. In addition, the third stage of clinical trials is the Kazakh vaccine "KazCOVID-in", after which it is planned to use it for vaccination of West Kazakhstan citizens.
– Since February of this year, we will start vaccination with the Russian vaccine, which consists of two parts. First, one vaccination is done, and on the 21st day - the second, - said the deputy head of sanitary and epidemiological control of the WKR Nurlybek Mustayev.
