Recently, the International Association of Theater Critics summed up the results of the past year and analyzed the work done by Kazakhstani theaters. The best ones for the year were determined. This was announced by the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aktoty Rayymkulova on her page in the social network and congratulated the winners.
In connection with the pandemic, the online event, held on the ZOOM platform, was attended by theater critics, directors and artistic directors of all theaters in Kazakhstan. The work done by the theaters was evaluated by domestic critics. Theater critic, head of the Association of Theater Critics in Kazakhstan Anar Yerkebay spoke about the activities of state and independent theaters in the country during the quarantine period. According to her, this year 40 out of 60 theaters took part in the monitoring and passed a questionnaire.
