In the waves of the coronavirus

Our region was again in the "yellow zone": from January 1 to January 10, 401 cases of COVID-19 were registered. On average, up to 46 new diseases are detected per day. And if the situation does not improve by January 15, it is possible to tighten restrictive measures. Meanwhile, WKO is preparing for vaccination. The first vaccines from the Russian Federation "Sputnik-V" should arrive to us at the end of February.

All these topical issues were discussed on January 11 at a regular meeting of the operational staff with the participation of the WKO Akim. As the chief state sanitary doctor of the region Mukhamgali Aryspaev noted, now there are 12 laboratories in the WKO where PCR studies are carried out. The number of tests has recently increased from 2,000 to 3,400 per day. Since the beginning of the year, monitoring groups have continued to work to prevent violations of the sanitary and disinfection regime. As a result of 112 raids, violations were detected in five of the 1,458 sites. 11 protocols were drawn up and reviewed in the amount of 656325 tenge. Eight materials were submitted to the court.

With regard to vaccination against coronavirus infection, active training is now underway, including the certification of doctors and vaccination nurses, as well as the preparation of treatment rooms and the purchase of refrigeration equipment for storing the vaccine. It is planned that first of all, 7768 medical workers, 23412 teachers, 36905 students, 100926 people registered at the dispensary with diseases of the cardiovascular system and respiratory organs, as well as 2471 employees of medical and social institutions and 156 from closed children's organizations will be vaccinated.

As it was stated at the meeting of the headquarters, the medical organizations of the region that provide primary health care to the population are partially ready to receive the vaccine against CVI. There is a freezer at the Regional Blood Center, and similar freezers at the level of district hospitals, which allows you to take the first batch of vaccine in the amount of 80,000 doses. At the same time, an application has been submitted for the purchase of basic refrigeration equipment for storing and transporting the vaccine, which will cost 7486749 tenge. It is also planned to purchase thermal containers with thermal indicators in the amount of 30 units and MHD-2 refrigerating elements intended for deep freezing. It was decided to purchase medical refrigerators for city polyclinics. Vaccination will be carried out by trained workers in 25 vaccination offices at the level of city polyclinics and district hospitals. Now vaccination rooms are provided with the necessary equipment, anti-shock corners and algorithms for emergency care in case of possible adverse consequences, as well as all the conditions for compliance with the rules of disinfection and sterilization and anti-epidemic regimes.

- The number of cases of infection has increased, as a result, our region has moved from the "green" to the "yellow" zone, - said the head of the region Gali Iskaliyev. – The problem exists, and therefore, as much as we would not like, it is possible to introduce more stringent restrictive measures. Before the election, we conducted PCR testing among all members of election commissions and observers. In 38 of 4848, the result was positive. Many carriers of the infection in our country continue to be detected in foreign companies located in our region. The risk remains due to such an external factor as proximity to the border of the Russian Federation. The virus is new, its consequences are not completely clear. And if necessary, we will also open a rehabilitation center. The situation shows that we must keep our finger on the pulse!
