Akim of WKR urged residents of the region to actively participate in the elections. Gali Iskaliyev was one of the first to come to the polling station with his wife and cast his vote.

– For me, this is an opportunity to make my own choice, to show my civic position. Today we are choosing people who will carry out the instructions of voters for five years, pass laws at the local and republican level. Therefore, this is a very important day, which in the next five years will give an opportunity to determine how active our citizens are. The responsibility of deputies depends on it, they will understand that people support them. I take this opportunity to invite all my fellow countrymen to take an active part in shaping the future of the country, to come to the polling stations and make their choice. Today, buses will run free of charge, masks are issued at polling stations, and polling stations will work from early morning until 20: 00 in the evening. So everyone should come and cast their vote. True, the weather let us down a little, but this is not a reason to stay at home, to stay away from such an important event for civil society, " Gali Iskaliyev stressed.
