Today, the regional akimat held a meeting of the operational headquarters to combat CVI under the chairmanship of regional akim Gali Iskaliev. The first to report was the chief sanitary doctor of the region Mukhamgali Aryspaev, who said that 7037 cases of COVID-19 were registered in the region, of which 3487 and 3550 asymptomatic cases were registered with symptoms, the total incidence rate was 1067.1 per 100 thousand population.

6,839 people recovered, and 117,000 were fatal. In October, 161 cases were registered, including 95 cases of symptomatic, 66 cases without symptoms, and 11 cases of unidentified pneumonia U07. 2.

– Most of the cases are elderly people – 29 people. 14 non-working citizens, 7 medical workers and the same number of schoolchildren, 3 teachers. Also have one ill child of preschool age, told Mohakhali of Aripaev.

According to him, there are seven Virology laboratories in the region with a capacity of up to 2,250 studies per day. Since the beginning of October, 27,633 studies have been conducted. Since the beginning of October, the number of studies conducted has increased by 31.7%.

To date, the region is provided for PCR diagnostics with 734.7 test systems for 36784 studies.

– Many of the patients honestly admit that they were infected with the virus by attending wakes, weddings and other events with a large crowd of people. But there are also elderly people who go out of the house only to the store and pharmacy. It is obvious that in this case, the virus was caught due to non-compliance with distance and sanitary standards, - said M. Aryspaev.

– It is important to carry out explanatory work with the population on compliance with quarantine measures as efficiently as possible, - Gali Iskaliev emphasized.

– In the period from 26 October to 1st of November this year, just crossed the State line 1158 people, including certificates – 1044 persons, without reference to COVID-19 – 114 – 114 is placed into a quarantine hospital for 2 days, tested – 114, revealed positive results – 3 of the Turkestan region, of the arrived foreign citizens without references 19 people to move not allowed. 2323 transit drivers crossed the border, 19 of them were banned from entering, 1482 drivers with certificates – 593, without certificates-889. Of these, 8 people tested positive for the virus: two of them were Russian citizens, and 6 were West Kazakhstan citizens.
