The head of state called on Kazakhstanis to take a responsible part in the upcoming elections

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in his address on the appointment of elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan and maslikhats called on Kazakhstanis to show an active civil position and take a responsible part in the upcoming elections.

"The upcoming elections will once again demonstrate Kazakhstan's firm commitment to consistent democratization and modernization of political institutions, which will ensure the renewal of the country's political system," the Head of state said.

As the President noted, our common mission is the prosperity of Kazakhstan and the well – being of our citizens.

"At critical historical moments, the people of Kazakhstan have always shown unity and solidarity. I am sure that now our people will take on a new historical mission of comprehensive modernization of the state with dignity. Kazakhstan will become stronger and enter a new stage of development on the eve of the 30th anniversary of independence. I call on all citizens of our state to show an active civil position and take a responsible part in the upcoming elections to the Majilis of the Parliament and maslikhats." – Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed the people of Kazakhstan.

Recall that today the Head of state signed a Decree on the appointment of regular elections of deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
