The first place in the IQanat project was taken by the WKO team

The best knowledge of mathematics in the national IQanat project was shown by a team of students from the West Kazakhstan region, which took the first team place.

According to the Department of education of the WKO, students of rural schools in the region showed the best knowledge of the Republic, taking the first team place in mathematics. Also among the top 100 students in the Republic were a student of the Mukhit secondary school of the Karatobinsky district, Fatima amanbayeva, and a student of the L. Klyshev school of the Chingirlau district, Laura Shynguzhieva. The Republican IQanat program for rural school students is a unique project of Kazakhstani patrons in the field of education. It is aimed at supporting and encouraging rural school students to enter basic, national educational institutions and foreign universities. The program includes selection stages for the regions of Kazakhstan, as well as support for the admission of grants and scholarships to leading universities in the country and abroad. The ranks of IQanat program Trustees are Replenished every day. The goal of the IQanat program is to collect more than 1000 best rural schoolchildren every year and help them enroll in free grants from the country and the world. In 2018, when the first qualifying round was held, about two thousand students of the region took part in the project, 55 of them received a ticket to the third stage. The Olympiad was held in 12 districts of the region for two years. The first and second stages were held in district centers, the third final stage was held last year in Astana, and this year in Kapshagay. At the end of two years, 30 students are now enrolled in a school built on the Eastern shore of lake Shchuchye in the village of Burabay. In total, 184 most gifted students from villages representing all regions of the country will sit at the desks at IQanat High School of Burabay. Training for them will be free thanks to grants provided by the First President's Foundation, as well as with the financial support of 60 Kazakhstani business Trustees. Only students with high academic performance, finalists of the IQanat Republican Olympiad in physics, mathematics and English are selected here. Every year, more than 35,000 students from villages take part in this competition. "This year, 1351 9th grade students took part in IQanat, 48 of them were sent to the third stage. In the final stage in Kapshagay in mathematics, a student of Kentubek secondary school Albina Khasanova took 3rd place (teacher Rysty Suyungarayeva), a student of Burlin secondary school Dilshat Aitkaliev took 2nd place. According to the results of the Olympiad, the WKO team in mathematics became the winner in the "Best team" category, – the Department of education of the WKO reported.
