Republican aitys in honor of two outstanding creators of Kazakh literature was held in Uralsk

As you know, the West Kazakhstan region hosts celebrations dedicated to the anniversaries of two truly great masters of the word-the centenary of Zhuban Moldagaliyev and the 80th anniversary of Kadyr myrz Ali. A real celebration of folk improvisational art was the Republican aitys, the main theme of which was the national memory and reverence for the creative heritage of Zh. Moldagaliev and K. myrz Ali.

Despite the fact that all other aitys were temporarily postponed due to the quarantine, on the initiative of the WKO leadership in connection with the celebration of the anniversaries of our outstanding countrymen, the akyns ' poetic performance passed without an audience, but nevertheless it did not lose the traditional intensity of competition.

A TV version of aitys was shown on the Akzhaik TV channel. According to the verdict of an authoritative jury headed by Zhursin Yerman, the Grand Prix of the Republican aitys in Uralsk was won by Bekarys Shoibekov from Turkestan. As a prize, the winner was awarded 1.5 million tenge. The first place was won by the poet from Karaganda Tolegen Zhamanov (1 million tenge), the second place was won by Mukhtar Niyazov from Kyzylorda and our countryman Zhansai Musina (500,000 tons). The winners of prizes for the third place (400 000 t) steel is also our countryman Bauyrzhan Shermadini and Cuterebridae from Almaty. Special prizes from the Fund of people's artist of Kazakhstan Asanali Ashimov (300,000 rubles) were awarded to akyns Aibek Kaliev from Arkalyk, Fariza zhetpisbayeva from Atyrau, Aspanbek Shugatayev from Pavlodar.

Numerous fans of the most popular traditional folk art not only from the regional center, but also from all over Kazakhstan were able to see the bright sparkling improvisational art of the best masters of aitys for two days.
