Outreach work carried out in Zhangalinsky district

The Center for the Study of the Problems of Religions of the Department for Religious Affairs of the West Kazakhstan region organized information and explanatory work among the population on the main provisions of the Concept of State Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of religion for 2017-2020, as part of the implementation of the state program to counter religious extremism and terrorism in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2018-2022, in accordance with the approved plan for advocacy groups to conduct explanatory work among target groups.

According to the plan, from 6 to 8 February 2019, meetings were organized with the participation of members of the regional mobile information and educational group A. Ramankulov and N. Danaeva, head of the district department of internal policy K. Temirov, theologian of the district youth resource center E. Sultanov, chairman of the religious public association "Rukhaniyat" D. Mukhangaliyeva with students and staff of schools, parents, college students, citizens of retail outlets and representatives of the mosque.

During the meeting, issues of the main directions of state policy in the field of religion, the principles of secularism, ways of countering ideology to destructive religious movements, precautionary methods, etc. were considered.

Also during the event, videos were shown and answers to the questions asked were given.

In this direction, with the participation of a specially created regional mobile group, work will be continued in other regions.
