Outreach activities carried out in markets and shopping centers

In the period from October 1 to October 5, 2020, at the initiative of the Department of Religious Affairs of the West Kazakhstan region, the specialists of the Center for the Study of Religious Problems carried out explanatory work among the population engaged in trade in markets and retail outlets, self-employed. Among them were covered the trading houses "Venera", "Kolos", "Teatralny", the markets "Mirlan", "Baiterek", "Merey", shops "Oral Arzan", etc. During the event, residents were informed about the danger of religious extremism and terrorism , the negative impact of destructive religious movements on the Internet on young people, the use of reliable sources of information in order to protect against destructive religious movements, safety in social networks and by calling the Center's hotline 24-46-46.
