Digital Bridge 2023: The innovative project of the State Corporation "Documentation Terminal" was presented to the Head of State

At the Digital Bridge 2023 forum, the Chairman of the Management Board of the State Corporation "Government for Citizens" presented the documentation terminal to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the guests of the event.

A unique project has already been implemented in Astana and Almaty. Thanks to the terminals, citizens can independently apply for the production of a passport and identity card. At the same time, customers can choose the most successful photo and pay the state duty on the spot. It will take no more than 5 minutes to submit an application.

"Since the beginning of the year, about 2 million citizens have received passports and identity cards. For many years, this service has been one of the most popular in Kazakhstan. In order for citizens to receive it promptly and without waiting in line, the State Corporation jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan implemented the project "Documentation Terminal". Now more than 25% of applications in the PSC, where terminals are installed, are submitted by citizens independently," said Suyenish Abdildin, Chairman of the Management Board of the State Corporation.

To date, the terminals operate in the public service centers in Astana at Kerey St., Zhanibek Khandar, 4 and in Almaty at Markov St., 44. As part of the scaling of the project, terminals are installed in all PSC of Astana, work is underway to connect. According to the Chairman of the Board of the State Corporation, it is planned to install similar devices throughout Kazakhstan in the future.

It should be noted that the annual international IT forum Digital Bridge 2023 takes place in the capital on October 12-13. The forum also summarizes the results of the National Project Management Competition "Qazaqstan Project Management Awards – 2023". The Strategy and Project Management service of the State Corporation is represented in the nomination "The Best Project Office of 2023". The project "Automated platform for receiving applications "eOtinish" was nominated in the special nomination "The best project for improving the public administration system". The participants of the State Corporation made their presentations and video visuals to the experts. By the way, the award ceremony will take place on October 13 at the Congress Center.
