And again the weekend lockdown

And again the weekend lockdown

Due to the fact that the WKO has been in the "red" zone for several days, food and non-food markets were suspended on Sundays. In addition, lockdown on Saturdays and Sundays was introduced in all shopping centers and shopping centers. It is prohibited to hold all mass events, including in theaters and cinemas.

The activity of public catering facilities was reduced to 10 pm. By the way, during the holidays, which do not fall on Saturday and Sunday, the markets and shopping centers will operate normally.

- Over the past week, in comparison with the previous one, there has been an increase in the incidence of WKO by 1.4%, - said the chief sanitary doctor of the region Mukhamgali Aryspaev during a briefing at the RSC site. – The most vulnerable group is still the working population and pensioners. Of all the identified cases, possible sources of infection are contact with previously ill people in the family – 33.8%, visiting places with a large crowd of people (shopping houses, markets, medical organizations) - 27.7%, traveling by public transport – 26.4%, as well as attending commemorative events (memorial dinners, anniversaries, weddings) - 7.9%. In recent days, the number of cases per day has increased and reached 81 cases, as a result, the WKO was again in the " red " zone. In this regard, a lockdown was introduced on weekends.

As for schoolchildren, 353 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the third quarter (since January 11). From March 4 to 18, 31 classes in 19 schools were quarantined.

- Now it is allowed to teach students in the traditional format in urban and rural schools with a contingent of up to 300 students, with the number of children in classes up to 15 people, as well as in duty groups from grades 1 to 5 and combined (70% of subjects - in normal mode, 30% - in remote mode) for six days of the week for grades 9, 11, - M. Aryspaev explained. - However, the regime and terms of restrictive measures may be revised in accordance with the change in the situation of the spread of coronavirus infection in the region. As you know, from March 20 to April 1, students go on vacation. If in April the WKO will be in the "yellow" or "green" zone, the training will continue as usual. If the picture is unfavorable, it will be necessary to introduce a strengthening of the regime and, possibly, that the school process will again be transferred to the online learning format.

According to Gulnara Abdrakhmanova, Deputy head of the Health Department of the West Kazakhstan Region, the occupancy rate of infectious diseases hospitals, according to the latest data, is 46%. 12 patients are being treated in 62 intensive care beds. Basically, these are citizens over 60-70 years old.

- Vaccination in the West Kazakhstan Region continues on schedule, - said G. Abdrakhmanova. – As you know, first of all, medical workers, as well as teachers and law enforcement officers receive the vaccine. For example, 660 teachers have already been vaccinated with the first component.

Representatives of the SEC and regional health departments called on the population to comply with all necessary protective measures. According to them, recently patients arrive in infectious hospitals with a severe and extremely severe form of the disease. The disease is particularly acute in elderly and senile people with arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and coronary heart disease.

- The picture with the coronavirus is complicated in the WKO. And in order not to repeat the summer pandemic, in order to avoid extremely severe cases, we strongly recommend that residents, especially on holidays, when everyone wants to go somewhere, observe strict sanitary standards and seek medical help at the first symptoms of SARS, " concluded M. Aryspaev and G. Abdrakhmanova.
