An employee of the akimat of Akmola region rescued a drowning child and returned him from a state of clinical death before the ambulance arrived.
On July 14, an employee of the Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Planning of Akmola region Satybek Zholdaspayev went to the village of Zerenda on a working trip.
According to him, at about 12 o'clock in the afternoon he saw that a child was drowning. At that moment, the boy's mother was also screaming for help.
"I immediately ran to help without looking back. The child lost consciousness. Earlier, in May, I took a course on first aid in emergency situations. It was useful to me in life. In order to wake up the child, I performed artificial respiration. Next to me was the boy's mother and my friends-colleagues. (...) If someone else had been in my place, he would have done everything possible to save the child. This is our human duty," Satybek Zholdaspayev commented on his actions.
After the child regained consciousness, the ambulance service arrived and checked the child's condition. Doctors recorded that the boy was in a state of clinical death. The situation would have been terrible if timely assistance had not been provided.
Now the child is under the supervision of doctors. His condition is assessed as stable.
