Road Construction Meeting

At the meeting, chaired by the deputy akim of the district Birzhan Menshov, the progress of road construction, problematic issues in the work, requirements and comments from the local executive authorities were considered.
Head of the Department of Housing and Communal Services, Passenger transport and Highways Zhalgas Tashuov said that "Atyrau Zholdary" LLP is responsible for 0-53 km of the road, and "Akzholkurylys" LLP is responsible for 50-103 km.
It is planned to asphalt 14 streets in the district center. Its total length is 12.68/%. In addition, the estimated documents concerning the road construction of 16 streets are ready.
Contractors say that heavy construction of the road is hindered by rain.
At the end of the meeting, the deputy akim of the district Birzhan Meneshov addressed the contractors and .put forward a number of requirements:
1. involvement of local citizens in the work;
2. when applying for employment, observe strict compliance with all laws relating to the Labor Code;
3. timely organization of the location of safety signs on the roads.
