The Department of Emergency Situations of the Baiterek district informs that in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Safety Rules approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 1077 of October 9, 2014, garbage incineration is allowed only in an open area in calm weather at a distance of at least 50 meters from any buildings, structures and stored materials in the presence of primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguishers, water). The area where the garbage is burned should be cleared of dry grass and leaves. Incineration of garbage should be carried out under constant control, only during the daytime. After burning the garbage, the fire should be thoroughly filled with water. It is forbidden to leave un-extinguished bonfires unattended.
In accordance with Article 336 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Administrative Offenses", administrative liability is provided for citizens and officials for violations of fire safety requirements during storage and incineration of household waste. Despite multiple raid measures by the emergency department of the Baiterek district to warn about measures and comply with fire safety rules, citizens of localities do not comply with these rules, as practice shows us only in the last ten days 25 registrations of dry grass burning and garbage burning of various types were registered, of which 11 individuals were brought to administrative responsibility under Article 336 of the Administrative Code.
For most citizens, the garbage collected at the farmstead, of course, is easier to burn than to take it to the landfill. However, carelessness and negligence in burning garbage can lead to a fire and cause irreparable damage to nature to you and others.
