For the first nine months of 2020, pension savings in the amount of 12.5 trillion tenge were formed on the accounts of depositors of the Unified accumulative pension Fund. For the year from 01.10.2019 to 01.10.2020, the amount increased by almost 1.9 trillion tenge or 20%. In many ways, such an impressive growth was achieved due to the fact that more than 1.08 trillion tenge of net investment income was accrued to the accounts of UAPF depositors, which is 598.6 billion tenge more than in the same period last year 2019.
The main amount of pension savings was formed at the expense of mandatory pension contributions (OPV) and amounted to 12.2 trillion tenge (an increase of 16% since the beginning of 2020). The amount of pension savings for mandatory professional pension contributions (PPI) it amounted to 301.9 billion tenge (an increase of 23%), the amount of pension savings on voluntary pension contributions (VPS) reached 2.14 billion tenge (an increase of 10%).
The number of individual pension accounts in the UAPF as of October 1, 2020 increased by almost 1.2 million units compared to the same period in 2019. As of 01.10.2019, the number of IPS was 10.6 million units (10,576,023), and by 01.10.2020 it exceeded 11.7 million (11,729,797). Thus, the growth in one year was 11%.
The largest number of accounts opened for mandatory pension contributions (OPV) – almost 11 million of them, or rather 10,982,963 (an increase of 11% since the beginning of the year). This is followed by accounts formed from mandatory professional pension contributions (PPI) - 521,681 (an increase of 2%), and the number of voluntary pension contributions (VPS) is gradually growing, such accounts in the UAPF are now 56,517 (an increase of 4%).
Since the beginning of 2020, pension contributions in the total amount of 777.07 billion tenge have been received on depositors ' accounts, which exceeded the figures for 9 months of 2019 by 61.7 billion or 9%. Of the total amount of contributions, 95.4% are receipts to the UAPF for OPV – 740.2 billion tenge, 35.2 billion tenge was received for OPV, 353 million tenge was transferred for DPV.
Payments totaled 138.5 billion tenge, most of which, namely 33%, accounted for payments for age (46.1 billion tenge), transfers to insurance organizations (36.1 billion tenge), for permanent residence outside the Republic of Kazakhstan (27.6 billion tenge), heirs (24.5 billion tenge), burial (3.01 billion tenge), disability payments (1.1 billion tenge).
