CLARIFICATION ON THE RULES OF BAGGAGE TRANSPORTATION

Previously, the free baggage allowance of up to 20 kg was actually paid and was always included in the ticket price (price from 4000tg), regardless of whether the passenger had checked baggage. For example, a passenger traveling without Luggage still paid for baggage expenses in the fare.  

In order to launch a budget airline (low-cost carrier), legislative changes have been made that the baggage allowance on air transport is determined by the carrier.  All over the world, the activities of low-cost airlines are effective, since the cost of tickets is minimal and low. However, in order to minimize the fare, it is necessary to reduce costs for all possible items of expenditure, as well as to exclude all additional services (Luggage, meals on Board or choosing a seat in the cabin, etc.).  

The launch of the domestic low-cost carrier Fly Arystan is aimed at ensuring the availability of air transport for the General population by reducing the cost of the ticket.  The first flight on the Almaty-Nur-Sultan route is scheduled for may 1 this year. In total, 6 directions are planned to be launched at the first stage, including Almaty-Karaganda, Almaty-Taraz, Almaty-Uralsk, Almaty-Pavlodar and Almaty-Shymkent. The launch of air ticket sales began on March 29 this year and fares for these destinations start from 3 999 to 12 999 tenge. In the future, it is planned to expand the route network to 54 routes by 2023.  It should be noted that the order of the Minister MEERA RK #540 from 30.04.2015 year "About the statement of Rules of transportation of passengers, baggage and freights on air transport" amended, according to which the right bezbashennyh transportation will be provided only low-cost carrier - FlyArystan. At the same time, hand Luggage weighing up to 5 kg is allowed. the 20 kg baggage Allowance is maintained by other airlines as full-service carriers.
