CAC IS WORKING TO CHANGE THE THREE-LETTER IATA CODE OF THE CAPITAL'S AIRPORT

The civil aviation Committee of the REPUBLIC of Kazakhstan continues active work on the issue of changing the three-letter IATA code of the Nur-Sultan airport.

Today, a meeting was held with representatives of Kazakhstan and foreign airlines-members of the International air transport Association IATA: air Astana, SCAT, Belavia, LOT Polish Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Air China, Uzbek airlines and Fly Dubai, which operate regular flights to Nur Sultan.

Following the meeting, the decision to change the three-letter code of the Nur-Sultan airport was unanimously supported by the airlines. The minutes of this decision will be sent to IATA headquarters.

The civil aviation Committee will continue working with IATA to change the three-letter code of Nur Sultan airport.
