In Atyrau, a seminar "Clean Kazakhstan – from a green kindergarten" was held among kindergarten children

The event was attended by children and teachers from six preschool organizations, who presented various environmental projects. The goal of the seminar was to identify and solve environmental problems of the environment, as well as to increase children's interest in local history.

During the seminar, educators and children presented their projects: "Little Ecologist", "Green Economy – Unified Education", "Harm of a Plastic Bag". A master class "Ecoalem" was also held, and a dialogue platform "If you become the Minister of Nature Protection?" was organized.

"The "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign is an important and comprehensively supported initiative aimed at caring for the environment. Today, environmental education of children in preschool educational institutions is an important social direction in the educational process. Of particular importance is the child's deep acquaintance with nature at preschool age, since a person's health, self-awareness, attitude to work and the external environment are formed before the age of seven. Therefore, it is very useful to hold such events as often as possible. Last year, 27 regional, 208 city and district environmental events were held in preschool organizations," the Head of the regional Education Department Marat Abuov said.

Teacher-educator of the kindergarten "Nurshuak" in the village of Akkystau, Isatay district Perizat Kalybekovna teaches children to sort garbage correctly.

"Through play, I teach children to separate plastic, glassware, plastic bags and food waste. While they do not know the letters, I do this with the help of cards with pictures. I often hear from parents that children sort garbage on the way home and even teach adults to do this," the mentor says.

This seminar was held by the methodological center of the regional Education Department. More than 35 thousand children are educated in 337 preschool organizations of the region. Among the preschool institutions – 151 state, 86 private and 100 centers.
