Serik Shapkenov noted that the number of Atyrau athletes competing as part of the national team at high-level competitions is growing. This indicates a growing interest in sports in the region.
“A ticket to the Olympics is the result of your hard work and determination. Victory does not come easy; behind it there are considerable difficulties and great efforts. You will compete with the best athletes in the world. There are only a few days left before the start of the Olympic Games. I wish you to defend the honor of our country and return with victory! May good luck accompany you! We believe in you and hope that the blue Flag of our country will fly on the world stage,” S. Shapkenov said.
The coach of the national paravolleyball team of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Baurzhan Takhauov, noted that the akimat had created all the necessary conditions for the training of volleyball players, thanks to which additional specialists were recruited to the team.
“Preparations for the Olympics in Paris are in full swing. The problems raised during the meeting with you were resolved, this made the athletes happy and made them even more determined to win the gold medal. Our ranks have been replenished with a specialist statistician who monitors the play of team members and the opposing team, as well as a nutritionist responsible for the health of athletes,” B. Takhauov said.
At the Summer Olympics in table tennis, our country will be represented by international master of sports Ali Makhulbek among people with musculoskeletal disorders. Now he trains in the city of Saratov (Russia).
“I came to Saratov and am preparing for competitions, since this sport is widely developed in Russia. My strongest rivals are from here. “I will do my best to win the gold medal and give the people of Kazakhstan the joy of victory,” A. Makhulbek said.
