Ceremony of raising National Flag took place in Atyrau

On October 25 – the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan – a ceremony was held to raise the National Flag with the participation of the Akim of the region Serik Shapkenov. At the ceremonial meeting, the head of the region congratulated residents on the holiday and noted the value and significance of the state symbols of Kazakhstan, marking the independence of the country, the Press Service of the Akim of the region reports. 

“On this day in 1990, we first gained independence; on October 25, a declaration was adopted. From this moment on, our country is actively developing. Today, on our national holiday, we raise high the blue Flag of Kazakhstan. Let the value of our state symbols, which are considered the golden dome of independence, continue to increase! May peace always reign in our state, and may the status of the country continue to remain high! Let's build a Just Kazakhstan together under our blue Flag!” S. Shapkenov said.

The ceremonial meeting continued with a festive concert by local artists.
