In Atyrau region, three children were diagnosed with measles, classes where children study switched to online learning

“In the secondary school named after Zhambyl, Zhanatalap village, one student of the 5th grade and two students of the 2nd grade showed signs of measles. In this regard, a decision was made to transfer the third and fifth grades to a distance learning format from April 25 to May 2, as disinfection and sanitary cleaning are required,” G. Saduakhasova said.

In total, this year, 15 cases of suspected measles were registered in the region from March 2 to April 24.

“Of these, the incidence of six children has been proven by laboratory methods. In four cases, the examination gave a negative result. Five cases are under investigation. In addition, 216 people who were in a relationship with patients are under medical supervision. According to epidemiological indicators, seven people were vaccinated against measles.
