In Tanday village, construction of intra-village road will begin

Today Akim of the region Serik Shapkenov met with residents of Tanday village of Baksay rural district of Makhambet district.

The meeting began with the report of the Akim of the region on the work carried out in the Baksay rural district. Then S. Shapkenov listened to the proposals and wishes of local residents. The issue of intra-settlement roads in the village of Tanday remains relevant at the moment.

“This question has been raised many times. This year, a major overhaul of intra-settlement roads and pedestrian roads with a length of 6 km will begin. The contractor is IgilikStroyService LLP. This project is very important for the villagers, so it is necessary to strengthen public control in order to complete the work with high quality and on time. Also, most of the responsibility lies with us,” S. Shapkenov said.

During the meeting, local residents raised a number of social issues: the provision of clean drinking water, the construction of an intra-settlement road, a children's playground, a sports complex and a sewerage site, employment, and the transfer of a quarry outside the village.

Serik Shapkenov noted that all these tasks will be solved in stages, in accordance with the law.

The Baksay rural district is home to 2,761 people. There is one school, a nursery school, one outpatient clinic and other social facilities.
