40 villages being modernized in Atyrau region within framework of program "Auyl – Yel Besigi"

According to Rafik Abuov, there are 153 villages in the region. Within the framework of the Auyl – Yel Besigi program, 93 villages with development potential were selected, including 40 villages covered from 2019 to 2022. This year, for the modernization of 15 villages, it is planned to implement 22 projects worth 5.8 billion tenge allocated from the republican budget.

“In 2019-2022, 41 projects worth 24 billion tenge were implemented with funds allocated from the state budget. This made it possible to build, reconstruct and repair 15 facilities in the field of housing and communal services, 20 social infrastructure facilities (education, healthcare, sports) and six transport infrastructure facilities (intra-village roads),” R. Abuov said.

In addition, 768 jobs were created in the region within the framework of the program "Auyl – Yel Besigi".

In general, 3.5 thousand villages are being modernized in the country within the framework of the program "Auyl – Yel Besigi". In 2023, 1.5 thousand projects worth 143 billion tenge are planned to be implemented in 736 villages: 119 projects in the housing and communal services sector, 275 social infrastructure projects, as well as 1.1 thousand projects aimed at improving the condition of intra-settlement roads.
