Report on the results of registration of candidates

for deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of

the Republic of Kazakhstan from Atyrau region

 

In Atyrau region, 6 candidates were nominated for deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Of these: 1 candidate* did not meet the requirements of the Constitutional Law on Elections - has a conviction that has not been canceled or not removed in accordance with the law (subparagraph 1) of paragraph 4, article 4 of the RK CL).

A total of 5 candidates were registered.

In accordance with the procedure established by the Constitutional Law on Elections, after the registration of candidates, the regional election commission sent a request to the State Revenue Department to verify the accuracy of information about assets and liabilities.

The decision on registration for 2 candidates was canceled:

Candidate E.Imangaliyev - in connection with the identification at the time of filing the declaration of unreliability of information about the assets and liabilities declared by the candidate and his wife (subparagraph 3-1) of paragraph 6, article 73 of the RK CL).

Candidate K. Kassymgaliyev - in connection with a personal statement.

Thus, as of December 24, 2022, 3 candidates were registered in the region.

There is 1 woman among the candidates.

According to the group of occupations: 2 candidates are employees of state organizations, enterprises and institutions, 1 candidate is an employee of the regional maslikhat.

By specialties: 1 - lawyer, 1 - teacher, 1 - agricultural worker.

The average age of candidates is 57 years.

In accordance with the Constitutional Law on Elections, information on the registration of candidates is published in regional newspapers and on the Internet resource of the election commission atyrau.gov.kz.

*During the election campaign in the Specialized Interdistrict Administrative Court of Atyrau Region, an administrative case was considered on the claim of candidate M. Bokay against the Atyrau Regional Territorial Electoral Commission on coercion to recognize himself as meeting the requirements for candidates for deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which, by a court decision, satisfied the claim of the candidate denied.

All events are held in accordance with the Constitutional Law on Elections and the Calendar Plan.
