Dilapidated thermal boilers to be renovated in Atyrau

Akim of the city of Atyrau Meyirim Kalaui spoke about this at a meeting chaired by the akim of the region on the topic of the heating season in the region.

“In order to increase the capacity of heat and water networks in multi-apartment residential buildings with dilapidated heat boilers, an open tender was announced for the purchase of three auxiliary boilers. A contractor has already been identified. On the basis of an agreement with this contractor, a thermal boiler house has already been installed in the Tulpar microdistrict (covering eight houses). Due to the slow pace of public procurement, only two heat boilers came. As of today, installation work has begun, which will cover 13 houses of the Nursaya and Bolashak microdistricts. It is worth recognizing that the situation that happened yesterday in the Nursaya microdistrict is not related to the lack of a heating boiler house. The contractor will install and start up the thermal boilers that were in reserve. Thus, we are fully prepared for the heating season,” M. Kalaui said.

During the meeting, the akim of the region instructed the akim of the city to eliminate the shortcomings and properly coordinate the work for the smooth conduct of the heating season.

“All the issues raised here are very relevant. At this stage, we believed the words of our colleagues that "the reserve heat boiler at social facilities has been checked and is ready for the heating season." Our trust in each other will play a big role here. What results are we talking about if there is no unity, everyone will scatter in the corners and there will be no support? It is necessary to establish control, to work together. In addition, during the heating season, we must intensify explanatory work with the population. Each institution must fulfill its tasks. Due to irresponsibility, the case again turned into shortcomings. If there are those among colleagues who neglect their work, immediate action must be taken. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen supervision in the issues raised,” S. Shapkenov said.
