Serik Shapkenov: Exciting issue of roads in Zhalgansay village will be resolved

The head of the region, Serik Shapkenov, visited the Makhambet district on a working trip, where he met with residents of the Zhalgansay rural district, the Press Service of the Akim of region reports.

First of all, Serik Shapkenov visited a water treatment plant in the village of Zhalgansay.

The water treatment plant provides clean water to the villages of Tanday and Zhalgansay. The plant with a volume of 14,875 cubic meters processes 1,150 cubic meters of water per day. One unit has seven water purification filters. Today, the facility requires an increase in capacity by installing additional filtration and settling units, cleaning filters and installing a tower.

Then the head of the region, Serik Shapkenov, met with residents of the Zhalgansay rural district and held a reception of citizens on personal issues.

Akim of the region reported on the ongoing work in the district, listened to opinions and proposals.

At present, the issue of building intra-settlement roads is acute in the Zhalgansay rural district.

“At the entrance to the village there is a main long road, and that's it. No more asphalt. To solve the problem that has been worrying the villagers for a long time, a design and estimate documentation for the construction of roads in the Zhalgansay rural district has already been developed, a positive conclusion from the state examination has been received, and a contractor has been identified. This year, 1 billion 900 million tenge has been allocated. Procurement of materials needed for construction. In 2023, funds will be fully allocated, work will begin on the construction of the highway,” Serik Shapkenov said.

During the meeting, residents discussed issues such as water supply, construction of playgrounds, Internet provision, they also complained about frequent power outages.

Serik Shapkenov noted that the issue of residents will be resolved step by step within the framework of the law.

In addition, the regional akim held a reception of citizens on personal issues.

Zhalgansay rural district has 1,248 inhabitants. There are 1 clinic, 1 school, 1 kindergarten, 1 police station.
