Family from Kulsary switched to special way of preparing fodder

Nurtas Kuatbayev, the Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Agriculture of Zhylyoy district, reported this, the Regional Communications Service of the Atyrau region reports.

Nurgul Dauletova and her husband Bimaganbet Zhumakashev studied animal fodder preparation using the hydroponics method in Almaty through an online course. Spouses who mastered the subtleties of growing vegetables, grass for livestock without soil, nutrients, with the help of water solution, initially engaged in this business to feed the small number of horses they had. After that, when the business began to flourish, they began to put the grown grass on sale.

“The demand is increasing every day. Especially often, herbs grown by hydroponics are bought by residents who are engaged in the breeding of breeding goats and cows in order to obtain more useful and abundant production. This method, which many people do not know, and if they do know, then what they use, is quite simple and interesting to implement. Grain of wheat or barley, bought on the market, is first washed and cleaned. Then it is placed in special pallets, filled with water in three stages and slowly grown. Thus, grain crops placed in a container will turn green in just a week. The height of artificially grown grass reaches 20 cm,” N. Dauletova said.

According to her, "The Program for the Development of Productive Employment and Mass Entrepreneurship for 2017-2021 "Yenbek" provided significant assistance to them. As part of this program, last year 100 beginning entrepreneurs of the region received more than 580 thousand free grants from the state, one of them is Nurgul Dauletova.
