Serik Shapkenov: Within the framework of comprehensive plan, specific projects will be implemented in region

Akim of Atyrau region met with residents of Zhylyoy district and held a reception of citizens on personal issues, the press service of the Akim of the region reports.

The head of the region informed the audience about the work carried out in the region, answered the questions of the residents and listened to their proposals.

In addition to social issues, residents spoke about environmental issues, youth support, organization of cultural and spiritual events for the population, etc. Along with this, issues related to contractors of Tengizchevroil LLP operating in the region were raised.

As part of a recent working visit by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tamara Duissenova, the head of the region reported in detail on the plans for employment of those who lost their jobs in the contracting organizations of Tengizchevroil LLP.

“Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelevich Tokayev gave specific instructions to increase the income of the population. Therefore, we are faced with the task of implementing plans for the employment of citizens who were scheduled to be dismissed from positions in the contracting companies of Tengizchevroil LLP. To this end, the responsible ministry, TCO and the Akimat signed a memorandum on a specific action plan. In accordance with this, there is a clear vision for the implementation of this issue, including the passage of retraining courses, etc.,” S. Shapkenov said.

Then Serik Shapkenov received about 30 residents of the district on personal matters.
