Serik Shapkenov: It is necessary to create an opportunity for young people to be involved in social work

Akim of Atyrau region Serik Shakenov, in accordance with the schedule for the second half of the year, began meetings with the population from the village of Kenuzek, the Press Service of the Akim of the region reports.

First of all, the head of the region made a report on the ongoing work and further plans for the improvement and infrastructure development of the village of Kenuzek.

In turn, local residents raised the problems of providing drinking water in the village, building sidewalks along roads, maintaining green spaces, cleaning garbage pits, increasing public transport, etc.

After listening to the speeches of the residents of Kenuzek about pressing problems, Serik Shapkenov noted that the issues that concern residents will be resolved step by step and within the framework of established laws and rules.

"Democracy is the openness of society. The main thing is that every citizen should express his opinion. Especially young people should be given the opportunity to participate in public works. We must help young people who have a fire in their eyes, who want to work for the good of the country, to be active representatives of society," Serik Shapkenov said.

At the end of the meeting, the head of the region gave instructions to the responsible persons to solve and study the problems voiced, and held a reception of the villagers on personal issues.
