In Atyrau, Otbasy Bank approved the first applications for subsidizing rental housing

 

This was stated by the Director of the Atyrau regional branch of JSC "Otbasy Bank" Nurbol Kurman, the Regional Communications Service of Atyrau region reports.

"On behalf of the Head of State, from April 18, the acceptance of an application for subsidizing payment for rental housing began. Across the republic, 17,000 participants received SMS messages from Otbasy Bank JSC with invitations to apply. At the end of April, invitations were received to another 23,000 people. Using the platform, 49 applications out of 257 received were approved in the Atyrau region. Appeals come to the portal from tbasybank.kz online. The cost of 1 square meter of rented housing is formed on the basis of the annual level of the monthly calculation index and certain coefficients of the region or city. For example, for residents of the city of Atyrau, the cost of 1 square meter of housing is set at 2,172 tenge. Accordingly, a family of three can rent housing for approximately 86,894 tenge," N. Kurman said.

Kazakhstan citizens who are on the waiting list for housing in four categories can apply for state support on rent payments: these are disabled people of groups 1 and 2, families with or raising disabled children, orphans and children deprived of parental care, families with many children.

According to N.Kurman, the candidate must be a client of Otbasy Bank who has a deposit there. The applicant pays a state duty for registration of the lease agreement. After that, a lease agreement with a payment schedule will appear in his personal account.

He also said that Otbasy Bank annually monitors the compliance of recipients of subsidies with the requirements, monthly controls the procedure for payments. And local akimats will check rented apartments and citizens living there at least once a quarter. It is forbidden to rent housing from relatives, spouses, including former spouses and relatives of spouses. Subletting is also prohibited.
