Since the beginning of this year, the foreign trade turnover of the Atyrau region and the Republic of Turkmenistan amounted to 129 thousand US dollars

Akim of Atyrau region Serik Shapkenov received the Consul General of Turkmenistan in the city of Aktau Muhammetnur Ovezov.

Akim of the region noted that in our region the most favorable conditions for attracting investments have been created and there is a great entrepreneurial potential.

Since the beginning of the year, the volume of foreign trade between the Atyrau region and Turkmenistan amounted to 129 thousand US dollars. Of these, exports - 64.9 thousand US dollars, imports - 64.1 thousand US dollars.

Muhammetnur Ovezov expressed confidence that the existing cooperation between the two countries will grow and develop. He also noted that this year marks 30 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between our states.
