Serik Shapkenov: The money allocated for the development of the village should be used for its intended purpose

Today, on May 11, Serik Shapkenov paid a working visit to the Isatay district, where he met with residents of the village of Khamit Yergaliyev, the Press Service of the Akim of Atyrau region reports.

The head of the region told the local residents in detail about the work done over the past year and further plans for the development of the village and the region as a whole.

The villagers, in turn, told the akim about topical issues. Among them, the withdrawal of a summer water supply system, the creation of an exit from the village to the Atyrau-Astrakhan highway, the construction of a park and a sports complex and the development of mass sports in general, an increase in the number of stray dogs, etc.

"Within the framework of the project "Auyl - Yel Besіgi", funds were allocated from the National Fund for the overhaul of intra-village and pedestrian roads. The work has already begun. We know that this issue is of great importance to you. In order for the repair work to be completed on time, both the population and the authorities need to strengthen quality control. To this end, it is important to organize public control. If the contractor does not fulfill its obligations, therefore, measures are taken in a timely manner in relation to it. The funds allocated for the development of the village should be directed only to the development of the village," Serik Shapkenov said.

Akim of the region answered the questions of the audience and listened to the proposals. Also during the visit to the district, Serik Shapkenov held a reception of the villagers on personal issues.

In the center of the Kamyskalinsky rural district in the village of Khamita Yergaliyev, today more than 3,500 residents live. There are 2 secondary schools, 2 kindergartens, the House of Culture, the Novobogatinskaya outpatient clinic, a mosque and other social facilities.
