A festive evening in honor of women was held in Atyrau

With the participation of the regional akim Makhambet Dosmukhambetov, a festive evening "Arulardy zhyrlaimyz!" (Let's sing the beauties!), dedicated to the International Women's Day on March 8, was held in the academic drama theater, the Press Service of the akim of the region reports.

The event began with a children's dance performance "Ana - Omir Shuagy" (Mother is a ray of life), organized by the folk instruments orchestra "Naryn" of the regional philharmonic society.

Expressing good wishes on the eve of the holiday to women and mothers, the head of the region noted their special contribution to the development of society and the country.

"The names of the ruler Tomiris, saints Domalak ana and Umai ana, the legendary beauties Bayan and Zhibek, our heroines Aliya, Manshuk, Khiuaz, sorcerers of culture and literature Rosa and Fariza and other famous women are inscribed in golden letters in our history. This is one of the examples of the fact that our people have been revering mothers and girls since ancient times. Now in the areas of health, education, culture, the main work is done by the representatives of the beautiful half. Also, in manufacturing, many women work on an equal footing with men. And in such a difficult and responsible industry as the civil service, your work is clearly manifested.

The future of the country is the younger generation. Their development as individuals is crucially dependent on their mothers. Therefore, over time, the obligations of the state to the representatives of the beautiful half are increasing, appropriate decisions are being made," the akim of the region said, congratulating the entire women's community on the upcoming holiday.

Then, the congratulatory letters of the President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev were presented and the mothers who were awarded the signs "Altyn Alka" (Gold necklace) and "Kumis Alka" (Silver necklace)  were awarded. Also, a group of women were given letters of thanks from the akim of the region.

The soloist of the State Opera and Ballet Theater "Astana Opera", the owner of the state youth award "Daryn", a native of the Inder district Rasul Zharmagambetov, the famous opera singer, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan Sundet Baigozhin and local masters of arts performed in the concert program of the festive evening.
