Makhambet Dosmukhambetov received citizens on personal matters

Akim of the region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov received residents of the region on personal issues, the Press Service of the akim of the region reports.

More than ten citizens applied on various issues of concern to them. They mainly concerned the provision of housing, the allocation of land plots, employment, and onomastics.

For example, a disabled person of the II group S.I. from the Kurmangazy district asked to privatize a residential building.

Akim of the Kurmangazy district Marat Murziyev replied that all the circumstances on this issue have been carefully studied, however, housing is not subject to privatization by law. However, he noted that S.I. in 2016, she was registered in the waiting list for housing due to disability, and in the future she will be provided with housing on a first-come, first-served basis.

A resident of the city of Atyrau A.K. asked to assign one of the streets the name of his grandfather S.A., who died in the Great Patriotic War.

"My grandfather went to the front of the Great Patriotic War in 1941. In 1942, a notice came that he was missing. Considering the merits of the veteran who died for the Motherland, I ask you to name a street in one of the microdistricts of the city after him," she said.

Assiya Kistaubayeva, Deputy Head of the Department of Culture, Development of Languages ​​and Archives, clarified this issue, saying that the naming of streets and objects is carried out on the basis of the “Historical Names” list approved by the Republican Onomastic Commission under the Government.

During the reception, Akim of the region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov instructed to give timely and substantive answers to citizens' appeals, to resolve issues within the framework of the law. Also, the head of the region stressed that this is an important task of local executive bodies and instructed the heads of relevant industries to keep the issue under strict control.
