144 Atyrau families became owners of new apartments by the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan
On the eve of Independence Day, Atyrau residents were given the keys to apartments built in the Bereke microdistrict of Atyrau city. Akim of the region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov took part in the event, who congratulated residents on the new home, the Communications Service of Atyrau region reports.
144 apartments were built under the state program "Nurly Zhol". Among those who received new housing are low-income families with many children and orphans under the care of the state.
"Yelbasy instructed to pay special attention to obtaining housing for the poor. This year, our compatriots, who have been waiting for their turn for many years, finally became the owners of their own homes. In addition, by the end of the year we will relocate residents of emergency hostels to new homes. This work will continue until the problem of families in need of housing is completely resolved," the head of the region, Makhambet Dosmukhambetov said.
Since the beginning of the year, 363 families waiting in line for housing have received new apartments. In addition, 481 families, who previously lived in emergency houses and hostels, were provided with their own housing.
"I have been in line for housing since 2008, and for me this is a special day. I express my deep gratitude to the akim of the Atyrau region, Makhambet Dosmukhambetov, for the fact that during the quarantine all sanitary requirements were met, construction continued and all work was aimed at implementing the instructions of Yelbasy. Happy Independence Day!" the owner of the new apartment Konyskali Sattygulov said.
It should be noted that this year tenants of 10 houses in emergency condition became owners of new apartments, and 24 families from the Karabatan settlement were relocated to new houses in the Zhuldyz microdistrict.
Thus, since the beginning of the year, about a thousand residents of Atyrau have received housing. By the end of the year, it is planned to provide another 332 apartments to residents of emergency houses and hostels.
