Candidates for the party list for elections to the Mazhilis have been nominated in the Atyrau region

The 32nd extraordinary conference of the Atyrau regional branch of the Nur Otan party was held, during the public debate, candidates for the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Atyrau region were determined, who received the largest number of votes in accordance with the regional party quota, Communications Service of the Atyrau region reports.

The conference chaired by the head of the region, the Chairman of the regional branch Makhambet Dosmukhambetov was attended by members of the political council of the Atyrau regional branch of the party and its bureau, party veterans, chairmen and first deputy territorial branches of parties, chairmen of primary party organizations and activists of the youth wing “Zhas Otan ".

The agenda included: approval of the draft election program of the Nur Otan party in the Atyrau region for 2021-2025; nomination of candidates for the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Atyrau region to the party list based on the results of public debates; approval of the party list for elections of deputies of the Atyrau regional maslikhat from the Nur Otan party; on the election of delegates from the Atyrau region to the extraordinary XX congress of the Nur Otan party; as well as questions of changing the composition of the Political Council of the Atyrau regional branch of the Nur Otan party.

Eight candidates took part in the public debate. At the end of the debate, the delegates made their choice in accordance with the quarantine requirements. According to the results of the voting, the names of the candidates for the party list of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan from the Atyrau region, who received the largest number of votes, were announced in accordance with the regional party quota. These are: Duysenbay Turganov with 107 votes, Salimzhan Nakpayev with 98 votes and Tolkyn Beiskali with 74 votes.

“110 delegates from all branches of the party, which has 24 thousand members, were elected to the conference. 42 delegates took part from the Atyrau city branch, 68 from the regional branches of the party. The delegates include representatives of all strata of our society. In particular, 8% - industry, 25% - education, 5% - healthcare, 31% - chairmen of primary party organizations, 20% - veterans and workers in other spheres. 34.6% of the delegates were women, representatives of three nationalities were also elected to the conference,” Nurlybek Ozhayev, First Deputy Chairman of the Atyrau regional branch of the Nur Otan party said.

The conference approved the draft election program of the regional branch of the Nur Otan party. These are issues related to the economy of the region, which are considered relevant for the future of the region in 2021-25.

Thus, at the aforementioned meeting, in accordance with the quota approved by the Central Office of the Nur Otan party, 18 delegates to the extraordinary XX party congress from the Atyrau regional branch were elected.
Note that in the regional and territorial branches of the Nur Otan party from August 17 to October 4, internal party elections - primaries were held. During the primaries, 1 061 proposals were received from party members, 448 of which were reflected in nine draft election programs.
