An extension of the cardiological center for 50 places was put into operation in Atyrau

Akim of the Atyrau region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov visited the medical institution, having examined the completed construction of the new building, the press service of the Directorate of Healthcare of the Atyrau region reports.
"The new extension will allow the population of the region to provide modern medical care at a higher quality level. Our goal is to reduce diseases of the circulatory system, which are the main causes of death," the head of the region Makhambet Dosmukhambetov said.
With the support of the Akimat of Atyrau region, NCOC was the sponsor of this project. The new annex has three floors. 
There will be a reception and sorting and diagnostic zone, a clinical and laboratory service and administration, specialized departments of cardiac surgery and vascular surgery, an intensive care unit and an interventional cardiology department with an X-ray service.
It should be noted that a centralized oxygen station (concentrator) was installed in the new building for uninterrupted oxygen production and supply throughout the hospital building.
Recall that the Atyrau regional cardio center is a multifunctional medical institution that provides specialized and high-tech medical care to the population of the Atyrau region, including patients from neighboring regions. The main profile of the hospital is cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, interventional cardio-angiology and arrhythmology, as well as multidisciplinary surgery.
