Since 2019, the Otbasy farm has been engaged in vegetable growing and today provides the residents of Atyrau with high-quality and affordable produce, the Regional Communications Service reports.

In the farm's Ardager greenhouse, 11,700 tomato plants are grown on a half-hectare area, and 12,000 cucumber plants are grown on another half-hectare.

The village of Zaroslyi, located along the Damby Highway, has 10 hectares of cultivated land and one hectare of greenhouse. Cucumbers, tomatoes, eggplants, spinach, Chinese cabbage, dill, lettuce, and other vegetables are grown here. In the village of Karmanov in the Makhambet district, 60 hectares of land are planted with carrots, cabbage, potatoes, and beets.

Products from the Otbasy farm, under the "Dihan" brand, are supplied to 10 stores in the city and offered directly to residents at affordable prices.
