At the initiative of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in order to improve the legal literacy of the population and provide citizens with free legal assistance, a large-scale republican campaign "Khalyk Zangeri" was held in the region, the Regional Communications Service reports.
As part of the campaign, special consultation platforms were created in the city of Atyrau and seven district centers, where more than 400 citizens received professional legal assistance.
“The goal of the "People's Lawyer" campaign, which is carried out in accordance with the concept of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2025-2030, is to provide free legal assistance to the population. Previously, we went to remote villages and carried out explanatory work. Now such meetings are held throughout the Atyrau region,” the Acting Head of the Regional Justice Department, Gulanda Kystaubeva, said.
Residents received consultations from lawyers, attorneys, prosecutors, representatives of the police department, notaries, bailiffs, as well as the Chamber of Entrepreneurs and employees of other areas. Specialists helped to understand in detail the issues of housing, employment, health care, finance, land and property disputes, family relations and alimony payments.
