The central stadium "Munaishy" will be reconstructed in Atyrau

It is planned to reconstruct one of the historical sports facilities of the city of Atyrau — the central stadium "Munaishy", the Regional Communications Service reports.

Construction and installation works are scheduled for 2025-2026. As part of the new project, the stadium infrastructure will be updated in accordance with modern requirements, comfortable conditions will be created for athletes and spectators.

“Currently, the stadium is on the balance sheet of the State Enterprise "Regional Specialized Sports Club for Boxing". As part of the modernization of the sports infrastructure, by order of the regional Department of Construction, Architecture and Urban Development, design and estimate documentation (DED) for the comprehensive reconstruction of the stadium is being developed. The author of the project is KazakhEnergoProm LLP. Currently, the documents have been sent for state examination,” the press secretary of the regional department of physical culture, sports and tourism Gaukhar Ilyasova said.

The Munayshi stadium was commissioned in 1950. Its last complete reconstruction was carried out in 2003, and the current repairs were carried out in 2023.
