The regional championship among teenagers in kazaksha kures is being held for the first time in the region

150 athletes born in 2012-2013 are taking part in the regional championship in kazaksha kures among teenagers, the Regional Communications Service reports.

The main goal of the championship is to popularize the national sport among children and improve the skills of young paluans.

“Young athletes from Kyzylkoga, Kurmangazy, Isatay, Inder, Makhambet, Zhylyoy districts and the city of Atyrau are taking part in today's competitions. Participants selected based on the results of these competitions will have the right to participate in the republican championship, which will be held in July in Astana. This tournament is not just a competition, it is a school of national spirit and willpower,” the senior coach of the Atyrau region in kazaksha kures among teenagers Asylan Chapayev noted.

According to the organizers, this initiative will give a new impetus to the development of kazaksha kures. The competition, held with the support of the regional department of physical culture and sports, will become traditional in the future.
