Since January 2021, legislative norms have come into force that give citizens the right to use part of their pension savings not only to improve housing conditions and (or) pay for treatment, but also to transfer it to investment management companies (investment portfolio managers - IPM).
The pension savings of the contributor can be transferred to the management of the IPM:
- in the amount not exceeding the difference between the actual amount of the contributor's pension savings in the UAPF and the minimum sufficiency threshold for pension savings; or
- in an amount not exceeding the balance of pension savings on the account of the contributor in the UAPF, if there is a pension annuity agreement concluded with an insurance company that provides for life-long payments.
To transfer pension savings to one or more IPM, the contributor must apply to the UAPF with an application. An application can be submitted through a personal account on the enpf.kz website or by personal contact at any regional branch of the UAPF. UAPF transfers a part of pension savings exceeding the sufficiency amount to the trust management of the IPM within 30 calendar days after the date of receipt of the application from the contributor. Before the transfer of the declared amount to the investment portfolio manager, the investor may change his/her decision to transfer part of the savings to trust management and cancel his/her application.
Having made such a decision, the contributor must apply to the UAPF with an application, which can be submitted in person to any regional branch of the UAPF with an identity document, or through the Personal Account on the enpf.kz website, where a new service was launched to cancel the application for the transfer of pension savings in trust management of IPM.
When submitting an application for cancellation through the Personal Account on the enpf.kz website, you must perform the following steps:
first you need to log in to your Personal Account;
then go to the subsection of the Personal Account "Services" - "My applications for payments/transfers";
after you need to make sure that the status of the application you want to cancel has the status - "Accepted for processing";
later, when viewing the details of this application, the "Cancel" button will be active for selection;
the next step is to read and express agreement / disagreement with the information provided, and sign the application with a personal EDS.
