After receiving a notification from the authorized operator, UAPF will transfer pension savings (within 5 working days) to the authorized operator to a special depositor account in order to improve living conditions and (or) pay for treatment.
How is the minimum sufficiency threshold calculated when withdrawing part of pension savings?
At the initiative of the Head of State, in order to support Kazakhstanis, UAPF contributors were granted the right to early withdrawal of part of pension savings before retirement age for strictly defined alternative goals - improving living conditions and paying for medical treatment. At the same time, the main purpose of pension savings is preserved: they must provide in the future pension income at least at the level of the minimum pension.
Based on this, the government agencies developed and then approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan the Methodology for determining the threshold for the minimum sufficiency of pension savings. (Government Decree "On approval of the Rules for the implementation of pension payments, lump-sum pension payments in order to improve housing conditions and (or) pay for treatment, formed at the expense of mandatory pension contributions, mandatory professional pension contributions from the unified accumulative pension fund, returning them to the unified accumulative pension fund , methodology for calculating the amount of pension payments, methods for determining the replacement rate for the average monthly income of the recipient with pension payments, methods for determining the threshold for the minimum sufficiency of pension savings ").
According to the provisions of this Methodology, the thresholds for the minimum sufficiency of pension savings are calculated, which will make it possible to form, by the time the retirement age is reached, the pension capital necessary to ensure a pensioner's monthly income in the amount of at least one minimum pension. That is, the threshold of minimum sufficiency of pension savings is the amount of money that must be kept on the depositor's pension account for the main intended purpose - pension payments. While for alternative purposes that part of pension savings that exceeds the threshold may be withdrawn.
Taking into account the fact that contributors will continue to work in the future (before retirement age) and, accordingly, make pension contributions to the UAPF, the minimum sufficiency thresholds are calculated for each specific age, based on the assumption of monthly (12 times a year) ) transfer of mandatory pension contributions to the UAPF from income in the amount of the minimum wage.
Thus, the calculation of the minimum sufficiency thresholds is based not on how much a person can earn by a certain age, but on the fact that the amount of pension savings by the retirement age
Thus, the calculation of minimum sufficiency thresholds is based not on how much a person can earn by a certain age, but on the fact that the amount of pension savings by retirement age meets the minimum requirements indicated above.

How can I check if I have enough funds to withdraw part of my pension savings?
UAPF provides several ways to check your savings:
The first and most popular way - via the Internet - at any time and from anywhere in the world, you can get the necessary information in the Personal Account on the enpf.kz website or in the mobile application. For access, the investor needs an electronic digital signature (an EDS can be obtained remotely on the egov.kz portal) or an IIN and a password registered in the UAPF database.
The second way is to send the statement to the e-mail address specified by the contributor. The investor himself chooses the frequency of receiving information: monthly, quarterly, once every six months or annually.
The third way is through the Personal Account on the e-government portal egov.kz. Entry is carried out using an EDS or a one-time SMS-password sent to the depositor's mobile phone number registered in the mGov mobile database.
You can also check your pension account by contacting any of the UAPF offices or by receiving an annual statement by traditional mail.
The depositor can always choose and change the method of informing on the enpf.kz website (using EDS) or at the UAPF office.
For those who are more comfortable and familiar with receiving all services via smartphones or tablets, there is a simple and functional ENPF application.
To register in this mobile application, you can use a one-time password that will be sent to your mobile phone via SMS.
Also on the website and in the Fund's mobile application in the Personal Account, in the "Get a statement" option, a function has been added to receive a statement from an individual pension account indicating the sufficiency threshold for withdrawing part of pension savings.
For the convenience and support of the population, a new service has been developed on the Fund's website to obtain information on the threshold for the adequacy of pension savings cabinet.enpf.kz/porog. You can use the service using an electronic digital signature (EDS) or SMS to a mobile phone number registered in the mGov mobile citizens database.
To authorize using an EDS, you must follow the link cabinet.enpf.kz/porog, agree to the collection and processing of personal data, select a signature certificate and authorize in the service using an EDS. To authorize using a one-time password, you need to take just a few steps:
enter your IIN and mobile phone number;

press the button "Send code";
enter the received six-digit code from your mobile phone.
This additional service is convenient for depositors and will allow you to quickly find out the sufficiency threshold without an EDS and visiting UAPF branches. The service fully complies with the requirements of authorized state bodies.
I would like to transfer part of my pension savings to the management of financial companies. Where should I apply?
Investors can transfer their pension savings for trust management to management companies that have a license to manage an investment portfolio and meet additional requirements established by the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the regulation and development of the financial market, such as:
Ø sufficient experience in client asset management;
Ø availability of positive results of financial and economic activity following the results of the last two years;
Ø availability of sufficient own capital, including for possible compensation by the management company to depositors of the missing profitability on pension assets;
Ø absence of facts of manipulation in transactions with securities;
Ø the presence of a major shareholder in the structure of the owners of the management company;
Ø other requirements established by the regulatory legal acts.
The Agency on a monthly basis will form a register of private management companies admitted to the management of pension assets.
The choice of the management company will be carried out directly by the UAPF contributor independently from the list of companies included in this register.
In order to transfer pension savings for trust management to a private management company, a contributor will have to apply to the UAPF personally or through the UAPF Internet resource with an appropriate application and an identity document (in case of personal contact).

How to pay tax on withdrawn money? Can I pay them all at once or in installments?
The contributor has the right to choose the method of paying individual income tax (IIT) when paying out pension savings (recall that IIT was not charged when transferring contributions).
Citizens can choose to defer payment of the IIT or pay it in full when paying savings to improve housing conditions and (or) pay for treatment. Deferral means that the IIT will be paid monthly in equal installments for no more than sixteen years according to the schedule established by the unified accumulative pension fund for pension payments upon reaching retirement age.
