The role of mass media in shaping public opinion, explaining certain norms of the law, improving financial literacy and objective presentation of all aspects of social, political and public life is very important.
A lot depends on the journalist and his understanding of the issues covered in the materials. In this regard, the EPPF invites you to take part in the annual seminar "School of Financial Journalism in the field of pension provision". The event is aimed at informing and training on the pension system and will be held online on November 24, 2022 (Thursday) in Russian and November 25, 2022 (Friday) in Kazakh.
The course program will help you in creating rating materials about the funded pension system. They will be of interest to all your readers and viewers, since all Kazakhstanis are interested in the formation of pension capital. From competent sources, you will learn for yourself and be able to convey to your target audience why Kazakhstan chose a mixed type of pension system, get acquainted with the experience of other countries, get information about how pension rights are implemented in the EAEU countries.
Experts will tell you what happens to the money in the pension account, how to calculate your future pension payments, teach you how to use the Fund's electronic services, and also tell you how to quickly get the most up-to-date information about the NPS and the activities of the UAPF.
